JS Teamlead Simulator is a code review sim set on WaveOS - a lovingly rebuilt early-2010s desktop with a glossy dock, draggable windows, chat, mail, a music player, and two games you'll play instead of working.

But your actual job is the review queue. Devs post pull requests, you read the JavaScript and decide which lines are wrong. You can't leave comments - you can only mark lines for rewrite, 20 marks per PR. Mark everything and pray is not a strategy.

Then you merge, and it ships straight to real users. Catch every bug and your reputation grows. Miss one, and QA will describe exactly what it's doing to production. Drop below 30 reputation and HR puts you on a PIP - from there, one missed bug is a termination letter, a greyed-out desktop, and a button that says

"Apply to position and try again."
